Traveller’s Reviews of Baan Thai Cookery School

Best experience ever!

Rating: 9.5 of 10 ★★★★★★★★★½

This cooking school was just fantastic, we laughed and learnt heaps. Have cooked Thai food back home with the same results. The friendly helpful staff were great, the other people attending Baan Thai cooking school were also very friendly. This was 1 of the best days we had in Thailand.

A fantastic day

This family run business was amazing and picked us up from the hotel. The day consisted of hands on learning a variety of traditional Thai dishes. Nice friendly and small groups aided learning. The trip to the local market to select our veg to cook was a lovely touch.

Fun, friendly, tasty and good value

Rating: 8.5 of 10 ★★★★★★★★½☆

We paid 700 Baht (£14) for a 4-hour evening class from 4.30pm which is plenty of time and doubles up as your evening meal. The school is based in the centre of town and you walk to a local market to look around and learn about ingredients such as herbs and vegetables. It feels as if you are cooking in someone’s home as it is very informal and also not a modern building with immaculate surroundings so don’t expect spotless new classroom facilities but there is enough equipment to go round so you’re always involved.
