Traveller’s Reviews of Jungle Flight

Great fun, very professional, amazing surroundings

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 ★★★★½

We ended up going here as we found the flight of the gibbons to be crazily expensive.
Not having been to both, I can’t compare the two, but I can say that Jungle flight was all we wanted it to be, and more.

The guide was great fun – smiley and energetic, and had a great laugh with my boys – ages 6 and 10.
We just did the smaller tour, although my boys could have carried on for ever! The place is very professionally run and extremely safe. The journey there is in itself a wonderful experience, as you go right out of town into the jungle up into the hills. The zip wires are huge and very high, and there we did 3 abseils as well, the largest of which was 40m.

We learnt a bit about the jungle and the insects and plants too. They then fed us an enormous meal, and took us via some hot springs on the way back to our hotel. A brilliant day with memories to last forever.

You’ll have a wicked time

My friend and I was thinking of doing the flight of the gibbons however was advised by TK travel agent Mr T that the Jungle flight was a lot cheaper and you do not always see Gibbons on the Gibbon experience!!! We really enjoyed it and had a very funny (if slightly crazy) guide called Jack. Would highly recommend it.

Brilliant

We choose Jungle Flight after it being recommended by a local. Our only regret is that we did not choose the longer tour!

Our day started with a pick up from our hotel and then a fairly lengthy (but scenic) drive up into the mountains above Chiang Mai. We were welcomed at Jungle Flight with a cool drink and were fitted out with our equipment. Lockers were provided for our belongings. Following a safety brief, our incredibly competent and hilarious guides assisted us through various ‘platforms’ and abseiling drops. The day finished with lunch in the local village.

This was both mine and my partners first time doing something like this and while I initially felt a little nervous, it was one of our best days in Thailand.
