Hua Hin, being less than 200 km south of Bangkok, makes it one of the most popular weekend getaway destinations for Bangkok residents. The resort town is equally popular with young couples and families, tourists and Thais.  Hua Hin is also the location of the King of Thailand’s summer palace, Klai Kang Won, “Far from Worries.”

  1. The Art Jacky Gallery and studio is a special art destination. Located on Soi 80 (178/115 Soi 80 downtown, Hua Hin). Jacky Phaengtho is a modern, Thai painter with a refreshing and original blend of East and West. I noticed he has only original acrylic and oil paintings without copies or prints. His themes are many, which appeals to every art taste.
It is worth the visit to his professional and welcoming gallery. Stopping by almost any day of the week, Jacky is usually at work on a new painting.
