Traveller’s Reviews of Flight of the Gibbon

A must

Rating: 4 out of 5 ★★★★☆

Totally awesome, thrilling and a lot of good laughs with the crazy yet professional Sky rangers.

2nd time – Still great

I did the Flight of the Gibbon experience last year and had a blast. I went back again yesterday and it was just as good as I remember (without the fear).

I went early in the morning to avoid the crowds (it didn’t work). By the time we arrived at 8am there were already 5 groups ahead of us.

It’s cooler in the morning and the light is better for photos. But the chance of seeing any real wildlife has gone because the whoops and screams from excited visitors must scare it all away.

The guides were extremely professional again and very safety conscious. However, this time the level of English was poor compared to my previous visit. They did try to speak Russian though, because EVERYONE else was Russian.

Back at base camp, there was a tasty lunch (if a bit small to fill up hefty Russians) and a chance to wander around the rest of the open zoo.

Loved Flight of the Gibbon

I was raring to zip wire through the jungle but when I got up onto the platform I cried with fear! With encouragement from our team leader I began to love it ! We had two guides who were really great fun and really made our day amazing! I would definitely recommend this day trip ‘flying’ through the jungle is something I will never ever forget !!

Well worth the time and money

We had the opportunity to go Zip Lining in Thailand with Flight of the Gibbon and it was everything they said it would be. Totally thrilling and exhilarating. My only problem is that I am deathly afraid of heights. It wasn’t the run that was scary but the landing came fast and then standing on a 3 foot platform with no railing, 250 feet up in the air. We were carefully secured at all times and I understood that intellectually but emotionally, I was a wreck! The guides were awesome and so careful with everyone. I can’t say enough about how well this place is run….if only I could get over my fear of heights.
