About the Procedure

Your surgeon will begin by placing you under local anesthetic and making an incision above the hairline or under your chin, so separating the facial skin from the underlying tissue. He will next extract excess skin and fatty tissue by using a blunt tipped instrument which is passed back and forward through the fat under the skin. The surrounding muscles are also tightened to rejuvenate the contours and appearance of the patient’s face.
